
Andrew Herring
Solicitor Director

Andrew has worked in private practice since 2002, graduating from the Australian National University in 2000 with bachelor’s degrees in Law and Economics, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Andrew is a leading solicitor-advocate, appearing in courts throughout the region on most days. Since 2008 he has held accreditation with the NSW Law Society as a specialist in advocacy, 1 of only 14 in NSW.
As such, his primary focus is the leadership of our criminal law, family law and dispute resolution teams.
He is a former President of the Southern Tablelands Law Society and is the honorary solicitor to Molonglo Support Services which operates the Louisa Domestic Violence Service and the Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Program. He sits on numerous committees of the ACT Law Society and regularly presents seminars and workshops to colleagues as part of their continuing professional development.
Andrew is also an adjunct lecturer with the College of Law, passing on his skills to the next generation of legal professionals.

Megan North
Solicitor Director
Megan started her legal career in 2002 as a law clerk on the Far South Coast of New South Wales whilst studying her Diploma of Law.
Megan was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2009 and since admission has practiced in both New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
With over 20 years’ experience working in the legal profession, it is Megan’s down to earth nature and ability to provide clients from all walks of life with quality legal services that sets her apart from other lawyers.
She enjoys engaging with her clients and providing them with sensible and effective solutions for their legal problems.
In 2020 Megan was awarded the ACT REA Solicitor of the Year and was a finalist for the same award in 2021. This achievement reflects Megan’s dedication to her clients, the profession, property law and the conveyancing transactions she is involved in.
Megan primarily focuses on conveyancing, property law and commercial transactions. However, also assists clients with Wills, Estates, Family Law and Criminal law matters.

Luke Frankcombe
Solicitor
Luke Frankcombe has practised in wills, estate planning and litigation at North Herring Lawyers since 2022. Luke advises clients on all aspects of estate planning and administration, including complex wills, enduring powers of attorney, grants of representation, and estate disputes. His work is focused on delivering clear, practical solutions tailored to each client’s individual circumstances.
Luke was admitted to practice in the ACT Supreme Court on 18 February 2022 after graduating with First Class Honours in Law from the University of Canberra. Prior to joining North Herring Lawyers, he spent over a decade at the ACT Public Trustee and Guardian, gaining extensive experience in trusts, wills, and estate administration.
Luke combines technical expertise with a thoughtful and client-focused approach, developed through years of working across both the public and private sectors.

Ashli Gouzvaris-Green
Solicitor
Ashli commenced her legal career in 2017 as a receptionist at a boutique law firm in the ACT. Since then, and whilst completing her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Bachelor of Laws, she has held a number of roles in law firms ensuring her legal knowledge is well rounded.
Ashli commenced employment with North Herring Lawyers in 2022. Ashli’s passion is litigation with a particular focus in criminal law. She is an experienced advocate, appearing regularly in the ACT Magistrates Court, the New South Wales Local and District Courts and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
In her spare time, Ashli is kept busy with her young children and husband. She is often seen on the side of a soccer game (always with coffee in hand).

Vanessa Doci
Graduate Lawyer
Vanessa graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2024 with a Bachelor of Justice and Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours. She is currently completing her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law.
Vanessa started her legal career in 2023 as an administration officer at a small criminal and family law firm in Southeast Queensland. In 2025, Vanessa relocated to the Australian Capital Territory and joined North Herring Lawyers, where she assists our solicitors across the practice. She aspires to specialise in family law as her career progresses.

Britney Brown
Conveyancing Clerk
Britney has worked in the legal industry since 2017, with experience across conveyancing and other areas of law. She joined North Herring Lawyers in 2022 and is now a senior member of our conveyancing team.
Britney plays a crucial role assisting our solicitors in the management of conveyancing transactions from first instructions to settlement, talking pride in her meticulous attention to detail. She has a thorough understanding of conveyancing best practice and the PEXA settlement platform to coordinate settlements and manage electronic conveyancing tasks with accuracy and confidence.
Known for her friendly and approachable nature, Britney is always willing to assist and takes pride in supporting clients through one of the most important transactions of their lives. Her strong organisational skills, efficiency, and dedication make her an invaluable leader of the conveyancing team.

Taylor Kenningham-Cundy
Conveyancing clerk
Taylor started employment with North Herring Lawyers in 2022 and has since become an invaluable member of our conveyancing team, supporting clients through the sales process. Taylor applies herself to her work with diligence and pride to ensure each transaction runs smoothly, bringing a friendly client-focussed approach to every matter.

Lisa White
Conveyancing Clerk
Lisa started employment with North Herring Lawyers in 2021. Lisa has 11 years’ experience as a legal assistant/conveyancing clerk and enjoys building client relationships and assisting you through the conveyancing process.
Lisa grew up in the Goulburn surrounds and has since settled in Queanbeyan area.

Hayden Hollington
Executive Assistant
Hayden joined North Herring Lawyers in April 2025, bringing with him previous experience as a receptionist in the medical field.
He works across the firm to provide high level administrative support to our solicitors and is often the main point of contact for our clients.
In his spare time Hayden enjoys watching a variety of sports games, from the Raiders to the UC Capitals.

As the Office Manager, Melanie plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. Her exceptional organizational and leadership skills enable her to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain a high level of office productivity, and oversee essential administrative functions with precision.
