
Megan North
Solicitor Director
Megan started her legal career in 2002 as a law clerk on the Far South Coast of New South Wales whilst studying her Diploma of Law.
Megan was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2009 and since admission has practiced in both New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
With over 20 years’ experience working in the legal profession, it is Megan’s down to earth nature and ability to provide clients from all walks of life with quality legal services that sets her apart from other lawyers. She enjoys engaging with her clients and providing them with sensible and effective solutions for their legal problems.
Megan’s experience in the legal profession has seen her assisting clients with conveyancing matters, commercial transactions, family law, Wills and Estate planning and Criminal law.
In 2020 Megan was awarded the ACT REA Solicitor of the Year and was a finalist for the same award in 2021. This achievement reflects Megan’s dedication to her clients and the profession.

Andrew Herring
Solicitor Director
Accredited Specialist – Advocacy
Andrew has worked in private practice since 2002, graduating from the Australian National University in 2000 with bachelor’s degrees in Law and Economics, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Andrew is a leading solicitor-advocate in the region, recognised as such since 2008 when he was accredited as a specialist in advocacy, 1 of only 19 in NSW.
He is a former President of the Southern Tablelands Law Society and is the honorary solicitor to Molonglo Support Services which operates the Louisa Domestic Violence Service and the Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Program. Andrew is also an adjunct lecturer with the College of Law, passing on his skills to the next generation of legal professionals.
Andrew is the director of our litigation and criminal law practice.

Luke Frankcombe
Solicitor
Luke graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours in 2021, followed by a graduate diploma of Legal Practice in 2022. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory in February 2022.
Luke has over 14 years of experience in the areas of Wills, Estates and Trusts with the Public Trustee and Guardian and brings that experience to private practice. He is currently practicing those areas in both the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales under the supervision of Megan North.

Ashli Gouzvaris
Solicitor
Ashli commenced her legal career in 2017 as a receptionist at a boutique law firm in the ACT. Since then, and whilst completing her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Bachelor of Laws, she has held a number of roles in law firms ensuring her legal knowledge is well rounded.
Ashli commenced employment with North Herring Lawyers in 2022. Ashli’s passion is litigation including Criminal. She has experience appearing in the ACT Magistrates Court, New South Wales Local and District Courts, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia as well as tribunals.
In her spare time, Ashli is kept busy with her young twins and partner. She is often seen on the side of a soccer game (always with coffee in hand).

Melanie Kenningham
Conveyancing Clerk
Melanie has been in the legal industry for 10 years and has worked in conveyancing for much of that time. Melanie brings knowledge and experience to our conveyancing team at North Herring Lawyers. You will meet Melanie during your post exchange process leading you towards settlement of your new home.
Melanie is a Queanbeyan local so you may see her around the area with her young family.

Lisa White
Conveyancing Clerk
Lisa has 8 years’ experience as a legal assistant and is now embracing her role as a Conveyancing Clerk at North Herring Lawyers. Lisa enjoys building client relationships and assisting you through the conveyancing process.Lisa grew up in the Goulburn surrounds and has since settled in Queanbeyan over the last 10 years.

Britney Brown

Britney has been in the legal industry for the last 5 years working predominantly as a legal assistant. Britney has experience across property and family law and is one of our conveyancing assistants here at North Herring Lawyers.

Taylor Kenningham-Cundy
Conveyancing Assistant
Taylor started employment with North Herring Lawyers in 2022 after previous work as receptionist. Taylor has since become a valuable member of our property team and is keen to continue to develop her skills in the legal field.
